2010 NPA News 

1.  As the Natural Physique Association prepares for another year in Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure things appear to be on the upward climb.
We are looking for a much improved year over the previous one. The Natural Physique Association continues with its’ mission of discovering the
champions for tomorrow and allow that one more opportunity for those who love the sport of Natural bodybuilding and fitness/figure competitions.

2.  Once again I salute the  United States Army (20+ years of honorable service which includes 36 months as a drill instructor, 27 months service
in the old guard and 24+ months as a First Sergeant), and a graduate of the Sergeants major academy.  I truly understanding duty/honor/country
and now entering into the legal retirement status of 62 years of life I find myself still remembering old acquaintances, appreciating life, and more
thankful than ever for good health, friends, fans and blessings. I did lose a great friend of 30+ years on June 19, 2009 in Mrs. YeSok Silas. May
she rest in peace and enter into the Golden Gates of heaven when our savior returns.

 3.  Our recruitment for Officials and Judges resumes March 20, 2010.  If you go to our homepage you’ll find the information.  We currently have
an abundance of great people. These folks are professionals, qualified, true pioneers and ambassadors of the sport with approximately 300 years of
experience.  We are also happy to announce the additions of JW Hicks and Ron Smock-McCarthy from Richmond and Surry Virginia as new
promoters who will add to our venture.  Gloria Knight-McNeil of Durham, North Carolina was Promoter of the year 2009.  2010 will be a better
year for those who are determined to make it be.

2009 NPA Top Male Bodybuilder of the Year:  Jerry Garner, Mebane, North Carolina
