As of January 1, 2010 any Pro athlete who has not competed in the current year and wishes to remain on the NPA eligibility list must pay his or her membership dues before being allowed to participate in a NPA Pro competition. We will no longer support athlete's who are not contributing to the progress and growth of the organization. If your name is dropped from the NPA Pro roster, you will not return to amateur status, you will need to contact the NPA President in writing and upon approval you maybe allowed to return. The eligible athletes will have 3 years to compete in a Pro competition. If they fail to meet the deadline athletes must requalify.
There will be one female figure, pro bodybuilding and male pro bodybuilding division in all NPA Professional contests awarding the top five in each division. The payout will be noted on the entry forms and is based on the number of athletes competing. Once an amateur turns Professional (competing for money) in the NPA he/she may not compete as an amateur within the NPA ranks again. ALSO, an amateur athlete has qualified by winning their class, division or overall titles in a NPA Pro-qualifier and has a three year window to turn Pro. Once time has expired athletes must requalify to regain status. Also newly added bikini will not have a Pro division in 2012./ Harry E. Silas, NPA President
